DJI Mini 5 Pro is in a different league for endurance. Flyer ID, Operator ID and the 250g Line: UK Rules for Both Drones
Let's kill a persistent myth before it takes flight: under 250g does not mean regulation-free in the UK. Since 1 January 2026, anyone flying a drone weighing 100g or more needs to pass the CAA's free online test and hold a Flyer ID. For runners and cyclists: HOVERAir X1 ProMax
If you run, ride or ski alone, HOVERAir X1 ProMax is the obvious answer. It exists for this. Launch it, set the mode and let it follow while you carry on. The 26mph auto-follow limit is enough for most runners and plenty of road cycling, while the 37mph instantaneous tracking figure gives it headroom for quicker bursts.
