Review and testing methodology
We use “tested”, “hands-on”, “we used”, “our measurements” and similar wording only when owner-supplied evidence is recorded.
Hands-on evidence
A hands-on review can record test dates and duration, hardware configuration, methodology, measurements and raw results, original photographs, and whether a product was owned or borrowed. The page should explain the method and its limitations.
Repair Bench evidence
Repair Bench drafts may be created only from genuine notes supplied by the owner. The system must not invent a customer, device fault, quotation, diagnosis, action or outcome. Case notes must be anonymised before publication.
Desk research
Researched buying guides, comparisons and first looks use attributed source material and do not imply that every product was personally tested. External laboratory or professional-review measurements remain attributed to their source.
