Foxconn parent Hon Hai reported record third-quarter revenue as cloud firms’ AI infrastructure spending lifted servers, networking and components.

Foxconn Revenue Jumps 47% as AI Server Demand Surges

What you need to know

  • Foxconn’s third-quarter revenue rose 47.12% year on year to a record NT$3.0269 trillion.
  • Cloud and networking products gained from strong demand for AI infrastructure.
  • The company expects AI-related operations to continue growing in the fourth quarter.

Record quarter for Foxconn

Foxconn parent company Hon Hai Precision Industry has reported unaudited third-quarter 2026 revenue of NT$3.0269 trillion, up 47.12% year on year and 20.44% on the previous quarter.

Foxconn reported NT$3.0269 trillion in unaudited revenue for the quarter ending 30 September 2026.

The result, published on Monday 5 October, is Foxconn’s highest-ever third-quarter revenue and exceeded the NT$2.83 trillion LSEG SmartEstimate cited by Reuters. It covers the three months ending 30 September 2026, rather than the company’s full quarterly earnings report, which is scheduled for 12 November.

AI infrastructure drives growth

Foxconn said growth came from Cloud and Networking Products, Components and Other Products, Computing Products and Smart Consumer Electronics. Its cloud and networking division benefited from what it described as “pull-in momentum for AI products”.

The company previously said AI-server-rack shipments were growing as cloud-service providers increased capital spending. Vera Rubin racks entered mass production during the third quarter, while Foxconn expects its 2026 AI-rack shipments to more than double from 2025.

September alone brought in NT$1.1586 trillion, up 38.42% year on year and 25.70% month on month. It was Foxconn’s first month above NT$1 trillion in revenue.

What comes next

Foxconn has not issued a numerical fourth-quarter forecast. It said: “AI-related operations are expected to continue growing in the fourth quarter.” The company expects AI demand and the usual second-half ICT peak season to support performance, while monitoring the global political and economic environment.

Why it matters for UK buyers

No new consumer device, UK price or availability detail has been announced. Foxconn did not identify the consumer product or brand behind September’s smart-electronics growth.

For buyers, the immediate impact is unconfirmed. The broader signal is that demand for the servers, networking gear and integrated racks behind AI services is now a major growth engine for one of the world’s largest electronics manufacturing groups.

Why it matters

This is not a consumer product announcement, and Foxconn has not confirmed any effect on UK device prices or availability. But the figures underline how AI servers, high-speed networking and rack integration are becoming increasingly important to the electronics supply chain, alongside phones and other consumer hardware.
