Worth buying if you already own a device with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 and want genuinely fast, rugged portable storage for video editing or large file transfers. If your laptop only has standard USB-C or USB-A ports, you won't see the headline speeds, so a cheaper portable SSD would serve you just as well.
